Charlotte Fiehn, Ph.D.

Academic & Professional Biography

Dr. Charlotte Fiehn is a scholar, author, and university professor with over a decade of higher-education teaching, research, and 1-on-1 academic mentoring experience. As Managing Partner of Eximius Tutors, Charlotte brings doctoral-level precision and a deep passion for student mentorship to every client relationship.

Charlotte currently serves as Assistant Professor of English at Yeshiva University. She earned her Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Texas at Austin, where her dissertation won the Outstanding Dissertation Award. She completed her undergraduate degree in English with Honors at the University of Cambridge (Lucy Cavendish College).

Her interdisciplinary research spans Victorian literature, Classics, American history, and gender studies. In addition to her Ph.D. in English, Charlotte holds an M.F.A. in Fiction Writing, an M.A. in American History, an M.B.A., and an L.L.B. in Law. She is currently completing advanced doctoral work in Classics and Jewish Studies.

Charlotte is an active author and editor. She is under contract for multiple academic books—including Katharine O’Shea: Reputation, Representation, and Victorian Hypocrisy (Vernon Press) and The Voyage Out: Annotated Edition (Clemson University Press)—and serves as Co-Editor of The Gaskell Journal and the Virginia Woolf Miscellany.
